Dr.
Rachwal, grew up in Southeastern Michigan
and completed his undergraduate studies in
Physiology at Michigan State University. He
graduated from Wayne State University School
of Medicine, earning an M.D. degree and was
elected to AOA Honor Medical Society. He
completed his General Surgery training at
the University of Michigan and was a fellow
in the Thoracic Tumor Biology Laboratory.
Dr.
Rachwal received his Cardiothoracic Surgical
training at the University of Michigan
Hospital.
His areas
of interest include Thoracic Surgery, Mitral
and Aortic valve surgery as well as Coronary
Revascularization.
Dr.
Rachwal is a Diplomate of the American Board
of Surgery and the American Board of
Thoracic Surgery.
Dr.
Rachwal is married and has three children.
