For the treatment of Valvular heart disease we have a special interest in complex multi-valve repair and replacement, including minimally invasive aortic, mitral and tricuspid valve surgery and surgery for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, the Maze procedure.  We have an extensive experience in complex reconstruction for diseases of the aortic root and thoracic aorta.  For the treatment of advanced coronary artery disease, we offer transmyocardial laser revascularization (TMR) in conjunction with traditional coronary artery bypass procedures.  Our group of Surgeon’s has a special interest and experience in cardiac surgery without the use of blood products (Bloodless Surgery).  Our Physician’s Assistants utilize minimally invasive techniques for harvesting the saphenous vein for Coronary Artery Bypass procedures.  Collectively, we have performed over 7000 cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures.

For Thoracic Surgery we offer all aspects of surgical treatment for diseases of the lung and chest wall.  We have a vast experience in Minimally Invasive Thoracoscopic surgery and routinely perform these procedures at The Toledo Hospital.
